YOUNG JEWISH LEADERSHIP PAC (YJLPAC) ENDORSES REPUBLICAN EDWARD LYNCH
NEW YORK - The Young Jewish Leadership PAC today endorsed Edward Lynch for election to Congress in Florida’s 19th District

The Young Jewish Leadership PAC has endorsed Florida Republican Edward Lynch.

“Edward Lynch is clearly the best person to represent voters in the 19th Congressional District in Florida, and is the clear choice of supporters of Israel” stated Young Jewish Leadership PAC Chairman Lawrence Scheer.  “He will represent an important, independent voice in Congress for the concerns of his district, and has demonstrated a strong and clear commitment, with an outspoken voice, to the national security of both the United States and Israel.  Edward understands that it is critical that all options remain on the table in order to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, and does not accept double standards regarding Israel’s right to defend herself.  He knows how important it is that we maintain strong relationships with all of our allies for the sake of our mutual security.  As an entrepreneur, Edward understands the issues facing America’s job creation engine, small business, and the importance of fiscally responsible government for the financial security of all current and future generations. “

“In sharp contrast,” Scheer continued, “stands Edward’s opponent, Ted Deutch. Especially important for pro-Israel voters, there appears to be no daylight between Deutch and President Obama’s dangerous acceptance of Iran obtaining nuclear weapons – an existential threat to Israel and a harmful development to the security of our interests, troops, and allies in the region.  Further, Deutch would be a rubber stamp for the destructive Pelosi agenda of seemingly unending increases in government spending and taxes, and restrictions of our liberties.  Deutch is a declared supporter of Obamacare, which creates a massive government bureaucracy, and contains hundreds of billions of dollars of tax increases and Medicare and Medicare Advantage cuts, jeopardizing the long-term health of benefits that tens of thousands of district seniors rely on. Lastly, it is clear that Ted Deutch does not understand how to help the private sector create jobs, as he has the second lowest rating of any Florida State Senator from the Florida Chamber of Commerce.”

Scheer concluded:  “Voters in District 19 are fortunate to have an experienced, staunchly pro-Israel choice for their next Congressman in Edward Lynch.”

Dear Edward:

Today, I am pleased and proud to announce my early endorsement of your candidacy for United States Congress in Florida's 19th Congressional District.   After reviewing your background and your position statements on the critically important issues facing our nation, I have no doubt that you understand the national security and domestic issues facing our great Nation.

I trust that you will bring the necessary leadership to Congress that we vitally need.  Congress is in dire need of principled public servants who will put loyalty to the Constitution and the principles that guarantee our freedom ahead of party affiliation, money and special interests. I believe you will keep that oath as a Congressman.

I commend you for your service and commitment to our veterans through your work to improve conditions at VA hospitals in the South Florida area.  Private citizens such as yourself who go the extra mile for our veterans understand that we have an solemn obligation to ensure that our veterans receive the best medical attention and care that our nation can provide as a small debt of our gratitude for the sacrifices they have made on our behalf; and for your efforts in this regard, I thank you.

We wish you Godspeed in your campaign.  I will be encouraging others to support your candidacy in the forthcoming special election.  You may communicate my endorsement to the voters of the 19th Congressional District as you see fit.

Respectfully,

Major General Paul E. Vallely

It is a distinct pleasure for me to endorse the candidacy of Edward Lynch for United States Congress in Florida's 19th Congressional District.  After reviewing Ed's background and his position statements on the critically important issues facing our nation, I have no doubt that he understands the national security issues that our nation currently faces.  Just as important, I am sure that he will bring the necessary leadership to Congress that will enable our country to confront these challenges and in a timely fashion.

Our Congress is in dire need of new and principled public servants who can bring fresh ideas to the table, and who show total loyalty to the Constitution and the principles that guarantee our freedom.  I believe Ed Lynch can do that in a very professional manner, and at the same time demonstrate that it can be done in a way that places the Constitution above party affiliation and personalities.  He is a proven leader, and has exhibited the common sense to do the right thing for the nation.  There is no doubt that when elected, he will abide by the oath that he will be taking.

I strongly believe that Ed should be commended for his service and commitment to our veterans and his work to improve conditions at VA hospitals in the South Florida area.  He has gone the extra mile for our veterans and understands that we have a solemn obligation to ensure that they receive the best medical attention and care that our nation can provide.  This is the least we can do in attempting to repay our debt to them, and show our gratitude for the sacrifices they have made on our behalf.  For all he has done, and for all the effort he has put forth, I thank Edward Lynch from the bottom of my heart.

I wish Ed good luck and Godspeed in his campaign.  I will be encouraging others to support the candidate of their choice in the forthcoming special election, and I consider this one to be very special.  I request that my endorsement be communicated to the voters of the 19th Congressional District.

Sincerely,

Jimmy L. Cash

West Palm Beach, FL, October 21, 2009- Jackie Mason understands that Congressional Democrats' support of Obamacare is no laughing matter, that's one of the reasons he has endorsed Edward Lynch for Congress in Florida's 19th Congressional District.

In one of the most heavily populated Congressional Districts in the country with seniors whose healthcare is being jeopardized by a President and Congressional Democrats who wish to pass a government takeover of the health care system, Jackie Mason has laid his cards on the table and given his full support of Edward Lynch and the seniors residing in the 19th Congressional District in Florida.

"I'm not in the business of doing commercials but one of the things I believe in more than anything else is Edward Lynch. He's a great humanitarian, he would do anything for Israel and he cares about Medicare to make sure the health program that they are trying to sell you right now is not put in place and he is fighting for Medicare.  He talks from the heart", explained Jackie Mason about his rare endorsement.

With only 36% of seniors nationally supporting a government takeover of healthcare system, and 59% of seniors opposing this legislation, the legislation is becoming more unpopular as more people learn about its details. Numerous national polls across almost every demographic show that the American people do not want the government dictating or rationing their health care, as would happen if the current legislation being proposed is passed.

"This is a telling sign that the people who are most knowledgeable and familiar with our healthcare system- our seniors- are decidedly opposed to all of the different Congressional legislative proposals that will inevitably lead to the rationing of their health care.  It is common sense, if you drastically cut funds to a program, something has got to give and that is care. This truly is the beginning of ?Kevorkian care' for our seniors.  It is up to people of courage to call our elected leaders out when they are wrong, and Jackie Mason understands that Congressional Democrats are leading their flock over the cliffs with this misguided legislation." explained Edward Lynch, candidate for Congress.

"Ted Deutch's fellow Democrats may be dutifully falling in line for him, but Jackie Mason has more candor and honesty than the entire Democrat political machine combined.  It is very rare these days to find a man who is willing to unabashedly speak the truth and let the chips fall where they may, which is perhaps why Mr. Mason has so embraced my candidacy and campaign.  I'm very humbled and grateful for his endorsement, and I look forward to welcoming him to back down to District 19 in the not too distant future to campaign on our behalf."

Today I have endorsed Edward Lynch (R) as the Man to be the next US House of Representative for Florida District 19. I have had the pleasure of spending a good amount of time with Edward Lynch and in all the time, I have known him he is always willing to listen, talk openly and have shown concern in many ways.

Edward Lynch just returned from Haiti where he went not to make his campaign look good but to do what comes natural to him, helping those in their hour of need like the people of Haiti. He is humble about his experiences there, but this is a man of action. He was there as a first responder on 9/11 and for hurricane Katrina. Truth be told going to help the People of Haiti could not have come at a worse time for a Candidate running in a Special Election that is coming up on February 2, 2010. Most Candidates would have done what is most advantageous for themselves, but not Edward. It was not an option; it is in his blood to be there to help people.

I have met with Joe Budd and Curt Price personally and there is no comparison to Edward Lynch's integrity, skills and background. They have said they will not support Edward Lynch if he wins. They also do not greet him at debates or speaking engagements. This should give you some indication of the character of the other two candidates running in the primary and really make you wonder if they are true Republicans. I have been a Political Strategist for some time now, and I have not encountered candidates such as these that do not have the common courtesy to great another candidate and to be so selfish that they will not support the Republican Party if they lose. Now they have started as a last ditch effort to save their campaigns a smear campaign against Edward Lynch. Where I come from, they call that poor sportsmanship.

Edward is a man of action, which is evident by the mere fact that we are having a special election at all in District 19. You see Edward ran against the incumbent Robert Wexler (D) when everyone said it is impossible to win. That did not deter him. He ran a tough race and came up short in the end but via the extensive research on Robert Wexler fundraising irregularities, Robert Wexler resigned mid-term.

Edward Lynch has the most experience of the three candidates, but he is similar to the other two candidates in that they are not politicians. Where he differs is he has spoken before the US Congress on important issues, and he has in many ways acted as the Representative for District 19 without pay with and with only the interests of the Citizens of District 19 in mind. He has met with Senators and Congressman on issues as well at his own expense. He has effectively already been doing the job without being elected yet.

We are faced with many problems and important issues today, and we know that the current Administration is not in tune with the People. Edward Lynch is in touch with the needs of the People. He knows we need to change the priorities of what needs Is important. Those are the employment and housing problems. This is not to say he is not concerned about Healthcare but without people being employed none of that will matter. He is also very much aware of the Socialist agenda that is being forced on us by this Administration.

Edward is a true believer in the US Constitution. He will abide by the oath to protect us from our Government that has continually ignored the Constitution. He will work tirelessly to bring the Country back to the People of the United States.

I feel that he is a man that thinks for himself and will not be forced into making bad decisions for his Constituents or to be bought off by big business or special interests.

I should point out that as a rule have never endorsed a candidate during the primary. After meeting Joe Budd and Curt Price, I was very troubled by their response to not supporting Edward Lynch and turning their backs on the Republican Party if he wins. Beyond that they think they have some damaging information on Edward, which is foolish since all Edwards information has been made public in the last election and all the information is available to the public on Edward own campaign website www.ElectLynch.com.

I thought about this for a long time and for those reasons and their lack of experience and knowledge of how the political system works that. I know it is the right choice, and I am sure you will feel the same after taking a serious look at Edward Lynch as your candidate for US Congress in Florida District 19. I encourage you to become informed on Edward Lynch and I know you will come to the same conclusion as I have.

I am confident Edward Lynch will win Congressional District 19 and will go on to defeat the Democratic opponent in the Special Election on April 13, 2010 and make us proud that he is representing us in Congress.

All the best,

Tim McClellan
